Present: Selectmen Joseph A. Sergi, Patrick J. McNabb and Joseph Hallisey; Town Administrator Robert Hanson.

Mr. Sergi called the meeting to order on Monday, May 4 at 7:15 PM.  The Board reviewed and approved line item transfers for the Police Department from 100-21100-51130 Overtime to 100-21110-52268 R & M – Vehicles, in the amount of $8,000, and for Town Hall from 1920-52220 Misc. Other to 1920-57732 Subscriptions, in the amount of $750.

There were no formal votes taken at the meetings of May 4, 5, 11 or 18, 2009.  At the meeting of May 12, 2009, on a motion by Mr. McNabb and seconded by Mr. Hallisey, it was unanimously voted that the Board of Selectmen call a special election, to be held Monday, June 29, 2009, for the purpose of holding a referendum vote under the provisions of MGL, Ch. 59, s. 21C (m), relative to a Proposition 2 ½ override for funding of the Library, the Council on Aging/Senior Center, and the Community Center for FY 2010.

The Selectmen’s meeting segued into Town Meeting at 7:30 PM, and, at 9:45 PM, the meeting was adjourned until 7:30 PM on Tuesday, May 5.

Second Session: of both meetings were convened at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, May 5, and both meetings were adjourned at 11:15 PM.

Third Session: of both meetings were convened at 7:30 pm on Monday, May 11, and both meetings were adjourned at 11:00 PM.

It was agreed by the Board that submissions received in response to the RFP for the Mill Site Development Study would be reviewed by the Mill Site Study Committee, and a “short list” of 2-3 finalists would be recommended to the Board of Selectmen.

Fourth Session: of both meetings were convened at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, May 12, and both meetings were adjourned at 11:10 PM.

Fifth Session: of both meetings were convened at 7:30 pm on Monday, May 18, and both meetings were adjourned at 11:15 PM.

The Board agreed upon the wording of the ballot question for the referendum of 6/29.
