Twin Valley Farm

(Protected Private Property)

Brookline St (near Prescott St.)

At the 2001 Annual Town Meeting, the citizens of Pepperell voted to join the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in purchasing an Agricultural Preservation Restriction on Twin Valley Farm. By so doing, this lovely piece of land will remain as open space and farm land in perpetuity.

Recreational Uses:

Twin Valley Farm offers lovely views from Brookline and Prescotts Street on bicycle, on foot, or just driving in a car. However, Twin Valley Farm remains a privately owned property and is, thus, not open to hiking, cross-country skiing, or other activities without the permission of the owner. Although each April the Kaiser family, in cooperation with the Nashoba Conservation Trust, host Farm Day and welcome families to visit the farm, feed carrots to the cows and horses, and learn about farm life.

(These photographs only hint at the lovely scenery around Twin Valley Farm. The top two photos are of the northeastern side of Brookline St. The to the left is from near the corner of Prescott and Brookline looking South.)

If you have any information to add to the description of this or any other recreation parcel in Pepperell, or Conservation website related questions or comments, please contact the Conservation Commission.
