Cards & Games
The Pepperell Senior Center offers a wide variety of group card games and other activities with something for everyone. Even if you do not know how to play, join in, you will surly catch-on fast. If you are interested in something you do not see on our list, let us know. We love to introduce new, additional activities.
Our group games and activities are free unless otherwise noted. All adults are welcome to attend.
Hand & Foot
A card game that has migrated to the North East from Florida Senior Centers thanks to our seniors who travel back and forth. Hand & Foot is a version of Canasta where you are dealt two piles, a "hand" and a "Foot" and is usually played in teams of two. Come alone or with a friend, it is a great way to meet new people.
Cribbage
Our cribbage players are a lively group, so you should not feel shy about joining in. Cribbage is a card game where grouping cards earns you points and a score board is used to keep track. No materials needed, the senior center has the cards and the board to play.
Bingo
Bingo is played at the senior center once a week and our game is pretty tame so don't feel too intimated to come try it out. There is a charge per bingo card and all money collected is given out as prizes through the course of the game. The bingo caller often runs variations of bingo such as "four corners," "picture frame," "T" or "cover all."

Mah Jong
One of our newest "card game", Mah Jong, is played with a set of 136 tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols, created around 500BC. An entertaining step away from the typical card games, Mah Jong has also been shown to assist with memory preservation. It does not matter if you are an experienced player or new at the game, others will help you master it.
Poker
Bring your nickels and dimes, we are a friendlier bunch that what you would find in a casino.
