TRANSFER STATION SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL CHANGES
 
The DPW is pleased to now offer 3 ways to dispose of your household trash at the Transfer Station and includes the highly anticipated return of PURPLE BAGS!
 
THEY'RE BACK!! 15-gallon purple bags. These are drawstring small sized bags that are pre‐printed and can be tossed directly into the trash trailer. These are available for purchase at the Transfer Station and the DPW office located at 47 Nashua Road in Lomar Park. The cost is $17.00* for a sleeve of 10 bags.
 
NEW!! 33-gallon purple bags. These are drawstring trash bin sized bags that are pre‐printed and can be tossed directly into the trash trailer. These are available for purchase at the Transfer Station and the DPW office located at 47 Nashua Road in Lomar Park. The cost is $17.00* for a sleeve of 5 bags.
 
Bag Tags. These are the peel-and-stick tags that the Transfer Station has sold for years to dispose of bags up to a maximum of 39‐gallons in size. These must be affixed to the outside of your own bag before being placed in the trash trailer. These are available for purchase at the Transfer Station, 
Pepperell Quality Market, Pepperell Family Pharmacy, Lorden Hardware, and the DPW office located at 
47 Nashua Road in Lomar Park. The cost is $20.00* for a sheet of 5 stickers.
